Calling Into The Night

There’s always that part of my brain that has to remind me of the possibilities. And even as I’m sitting here in my room I’m thinking about them. What does the future hold? Well no one that I know can tell me for sure but I do know what I hope for. You, as simple as it is that’s all I really need right now. I know it may seem selfish, and trust me I hate myself for feeling this way but in a way I don’t really care. I know I should be glad about the things in my life that I have and I truly am. It just feels like a part of my life is missing and I’m just desperately trying to fill in the blank. I can’t help the feelings that I have and try as I might they don’t seem to be going away. I can’t help but to wonder that if you knew about it, what your reaction would be? Would you be instantly opposed to it? Would you be interested? I hope that there’s a part of you that has considered, if only for a second, what your answer would be if I came up to you today and asked you. But to me this fragile bond of friendship is something that I can’t risk, but I know that if I am to pursue a deeper, more complex relationship, that it will be put to the test. My only hope is that when the dust settles and everything is all worked out, I can still call you a friend because the friendship that you give me is something I truly cherish.

This is to all of my friends that I have drifted apart from. So in a short list Robert, James, and Sam. I hate that I am, in almost all cases not even friends with you guys anymore. It’s almost like were strangers. I believe its because I moved away from all of you guys and that sucks but I hope that one day I’ll be able to meet all of you guys again, especially you Robert because damn man I’ve completely lost contact with you.
